Description

Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, the Inventory Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory information through meticulous data management and collaboration with key stakeholders. This position involves reconciling, auditing and completing various inventory-related tasks to support day-to-day operations.

Shift: 8am to 5pm

Salary Range: $65K to $70K

Duration: 3 to 6 months, potential for full-time employment

Location: North York

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile, audit and complete inventory tasks for daily operations and document & communicate any inventory discrepancies
  • Generate customer return merchandise authorizations
  • Collaborate on PO reconciliation with Receiving and Accounts Payable teams - investigate and complete Accounts Receivable deductions
  • Liaise with Finance, Customer Service, Supply Planning, Distribution and Operations to address inventory issues
  • Track CHEP transactions
  • Reconcile Warehouse Management System (WMS) counts and IN/OUT transfers
  • Ensure accuracy of LEAKERS, MISSING/LOST and damaged products
  • Conduct and execute cycle counts
  • Investigate and address customer shortages
  • Monitor returns and refusal processes, coordinating disposals
  • Govern inventory and warehousing processes to comply with internal and external audit practices
  • Reconciling item conversions in the Outside Warehouse
  • Reconciling inventory with third-party locations
  • Creating KPI reports for weekly and monthly business reviews
  • Providing detailed capacity analysis reports and suggesting optimal solutions to customers

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Inventory Controls
  • Demonstrated communication skills
  • Ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues promptly
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, WMS, and D365
  • Exceptional multitasking skills
  • Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license
  • Availability to work flexible shifts as required (Backfill Inventory Supervisor)
