Logistics Coordinator needed in Hamilton

$38,000 - $42,000 based on experience

Monday to Friday, 10am to 7:30pm


  • Take/book customer orders by phone and email
  • Process and dispatch orders
  • Manage the day to day administration requirements related to the dispatch department
  • Plan, coordinate and dispatch inbound/outbound shipments
  • Accept and process load tenders and BOL's
  • Book delivery appointments and schedule pickup date and time
  • Monitor and update shipment statuses on the company's internal applications
  • Answer questions, provide quotes, follow-up with customers on shipments
  • Communicate professionally with customers, drivers and co-workers
  • Assist and report to Terminal Manager as needed


  • 1 - 2 years experience in a Transportation/Logistics/Dispatch related environment
  • Must be able to multi-task with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication, problem solving, planning, analytical and organizational skills
  • Able to work in and thrive within an environment involving challenging time constraints and busy operation
  • Exceptional computer skills (G Suite, Excel, UFOs, Load Link, variety of databases)
