Operations Supervisor – Transportation Trucking Division needed immediately in Sudbury
$75K per year
Early AM shift, 3am to 11am
Responsibilities:
- Supervise drivers and support staff
- Schedule and assign routes, optimizing efficiency
- Monitor driver performance and ensure regulations compliance
- Oversee maintenance and inspection schedules for trucks
- Address issued raised by drivers and customers
- Collaborate with other departments and implement company policies & procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1 – 2 years transportation/logistics industry experience REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year Operations Supervisor experience REQUIRED
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience required
- Must have a valid DZ license, AZ license a bonus
- Recent clean driver’s abstract, CVOR and criminal record check
- Excellent computer skills
- Able to multi-task, with strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
