Project Estimator needed immediately in Mississauga
$28 – $30/hr, depending on experience
Monday to Friday, Day Shift (8am start)
Responsibilities:
- Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals
- Ensure all estimates meet deadlines and company quality standards
- Request & evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing
- Identify project risks, missing information and value-engineering opportunities
- Communicate effectively via email with customers to confirm all required items
- Maintain up to date knowledge of projects, pricing and industry trends
- Work collaboratively with all departments from front to back
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of Project Estimator/Managing experience in the aluminum commercial windows and doors industry
- Must be proficient with Opera software and QuickBooks (Required)
- Excellent communication, customer service, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Able to work respectively and collaboratively with various individuals
